Strife and anguish afflict the developing world in ways that many of us in developed nations cannot even imagine. Out of the goodwill of people's hearts, many charitable organizations have arisen to provide nourishment, general healthcare, education, and shelter to those suffering in the most desperate conditions.
With a focus on advanced specialty medical care, GSCC provides not only direct specialty-focused medical care with fee-for-service and Pro-Bono care for the poverty-stricken, but actually raises the bar of the entire medical infrastructure in developing nations to match the highest standards of the developed world. Rather than simply "giving men fish," our locums specialty physicians "teach men to fish" -- essentially, indigenous physicians native to the developing countries we work in will be provided with advanced tools and highly-technical surgical training so to spearhead the nation's underlying medical standards. By implementing this hands-on training methodology, we will develop local surgical specialists in a 2 to 3-year timeframe versus what would otherwise be a bare minimum of a 10 to 15-year timeframe.
A gift to the Global Subspecialty Care Company means the transformation of thousands, millions, and very realistically, even potentially billions, of lives; for, our impact is not only on the lives of those we save with advanced treatment and surgery, but on the entire healthcare infrastructure of developing nations.
